production began in 1986. Today, the guitars are
built by experienced
luthiers in Helsinki.

Kauko
Liikanen the founder of the workshop has built guitars for more
than 30 years. In his earlier career he spent 10 years in a sound and
vibration laboratory. He followed studies in classical guitar music as
well. |

Keijo
Liikanen became partner in 1990. He earlier had a career in in the
telecommunication industry. Beside on making guitars he manages the
supplying of raw materials and handles administrative matters. |
|

Uwe
Florath graduated as a diplom guitarist at the Musikhochschule Köln
in Germany worked as a guitar teacher at the University of Helsinki
before he started building guitars. Together with Kauko Liikanen he
developed a new soundboard construction, the unique “Lens Resonance
System®”

Babak Reza an Iranian luthier, started to work in our workshop 2005.
